My painting Soul at Night as been accepted into the 98th Annual Hoosier Salon exhibit. This is a special piece to me as I challenged myself with a couple of different aims to see if I could make them work within a single painting. My goal was for the sky to be darker than the ground plane, have three interesting and irregular lines created by the main trees, and create a mood that was subtle yet powerful. I believe I achieved all of that, but you can make the final judgment.
